We live in an area of older homes in Madison --- our home was built in 1922. We contacted Fassl's Fourmost Kitchens with the intent of updating and making the maximum usable storage and work space in our small kitchen. Joe listened to our ideas and concerns. I trusted him from the start. We had looked at other builders and did not feel confident with the suggestions that were made by other remodelers. The contract was clear and spelled out exactly the work planned, the materials that would be used, and the total cost of the project. The pricing was fair and below the pricing offered by other builders.

Joe and Deb were very patient and knowledgeable with our selection of counter tops and cabinets. Joe suggested a rearrangement in our existing kitchen that made the work flow so much easier in our small space. The Silestone counter tops are a wonderful work surface in addition to being beautiful to look at. The cabinets that extend to the ceiling make this small space look grand. The made to order finish carpentry is perfect and true to the design of this older home.

As with any project in an older home, we ran into a few surprises that Joe and his crew took in stride and worked through. In addition to the kitchen remodel, Joe replaced our basement stairs and landing in oak hardwood. This small job turned out to be rather complicated as nothing remains square in a home of this vintage. This rebuilt staircase is a focal point rather than the previous eyesore it had been.

Joe always asked for our input, respected our suggestions and followed through with our wishes. The work was completed in a timely manner and the crew left the work space clean and safe everyday. The crew really went beyond the call of duty when they moved our displaced refrigerator back in to the house from the garage and then neatly rearranged the contents for us. Additionally, our curious six year old was allowed to watch the crew (from a safe distance).

We wholeheartedly recommend Fassl's Fourmost Kitchens for your next remodeling job. We already have a few projects that we have planned for Joe for next year and we look forward to working with him again.
